Dope Magazine Vendors / 2023 - Ongoing
Dope Magazine is distributed free of charge to anyone in need of a little solidarity. The vendors are people facing financial struggles. They keep all the money from sales making it a socially impactful project that genuinely improves people's lives. This includes, but is not limited to, homeless individuals and anyone experiencing financial hardship. Dope Magazine commissioned me to photograph vendors as part of a series of interviews featured by the magazine. Meeting these vendors and capturing their portraits has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Many have shared that they're not accustomed to being photographed, yet they're always delighted to see themselves in the magazine once the interview is published.
